Error:"no healthy upstream" when accessing host images after vCenter update

Issue/Introduction
- vCenter(VC) was updated from 8.0.3 00700 to 8.0.3 00800 version.
- After the update, the update manager service is in stopped state.
- Manual restart of the update manager service ends up in service being running.
- Rebooting the VC causes the service to stop again.
- The
/var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server/vmware-vum-server-##.loghas errors of the following type:

Environment
VMware vCenter Server 8.x
Cause
The update manager service crashes due to references to the old VMware repositories. Failing to resolve these URLs causes the service to crash with a backtrace.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, follow the resolution as per the following articles to remove VMware URLs and also reset references to them:
- Update Lifecycle Manager depository URL at vSphere Client. for the updated Broadcom URLs that can be used.
- Resetting the VMware Update Manager Database
