Problem with VAMI in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

You are having an issue accessing https://vrops_IP_or_FQDN:5480 with the error "Looks like there's a problem with this site" via Firefox browser, or "Hmmm...can't reach this page" via Google Chrome.

 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

VAMI is a term for vCenter, short for vCenter Server Appliance Management Interface. It is a dedicated web-based portal at https://<vcenter-FQDN-or-IP>:5480 for administering the underlying Linux OS of the vCenter Server Appliance (VCSA). It's not a component of Aria Operations. 

Resolution

1. Aria Operations' admin UI is https://AriaOperations_IP_or_FQDN/admin.

2. Log in with admin credentials.
