Issue/Introduction

Users may experience an issue where the Azure Rightsizing page in the CloudHealth platform fails to load recommendations or displays an error stating that metrics are not enabled. This occurs even if the user has previously seen metrics.

Symptoms
> The Rightsizing page does not populate with data.
> Network logs may show errors related to metric availability.

Resolution

This issue is typically caused by metric collection being stopped or disabled at the Service Principal (SP) level. To resolve this, follow the steps below:

1. Verify Metric Collection Status:

> Log in to the CloudHealth platform.
> Navigate to the Service Principal (SP) settings.
> If the collection is disabled, toggle the setting to Enabled.

Wait for Processing:

After re-enabling metrics, allow 24 to 48 hours for the next collection job to run and for the platform to process the data.
