What Data Control Modules (DCM’s) are delivered in the Common Services CAW0OPTN(ENFPARM) member?

Resolution

Six Data Control Modules (DCM’s) are delivered with Common Services.  However, only DCM(CAS9DCM0) for ENF BASE EVENTS is active.  The other five DCM’s are commented out by default.

*DCM(CARRDCM0)        * UNIX SYSTEM SERVICES INTERCEPT APPLICATION

*DCM(CAL2DCM2)         * CROSS-PLATFORM SCHEDULING (XPS) EVENTS

 

DCM’s for other Broadcom products must be added to the CAW0OPTN(ENFPARM) member.  In addition, one of the following steps must be taken:

•   Concatenate the Broadcom product DCM library dataset to the //CAIDCM DDName.
•   Concatenate the Broadcom product DCM library to the JOBLIB/STEPLIB or the z/OS LNKLST/LPALST.  Then change the format of the DCM Parm to DCM(object,*)  where object is the DCM name.
