Question: 

What Data Control Modules (DCM’s) are delivered in the CA Common Services CAW0OPTN(ENFPARM) member?

• CA Common Services r14.1

 

Answer: 

Six Data Control Modules (DCM’s) are delivered with CA Common Services.  However, only DCM(CAS9DCM0) for ENF BASE EVENTS is active.  The other five DCM’s are commented out by default.

DCM’s for other CA products must be added to the CAW0OPTN(ENFPARM) member.  In addition, one of the following steps must be taken:

·    Concatenate the CA product DCM library dataset to the //CAIDCM DDName.

·    Concatenate the CA product DCM library to the JOBLIB/STEPLIB or the z/OS LNKLST/LPALST.  Then change the format of the DCM Parm to DCM(object,*)  where object is the DCM name.
