Question regarding RACF Security Interfaces Documentation/configuration.

On page 81 of the Security Manual for Datacom, chapter 2 using external Security for CA Datacom. I see the following Note:

"Note: to help ensure proper CICs interface with the IBM RACF product, verify that the DFHSIT macro parameter EXTSEC is coded YES.  "

what macro in particular needs to be modified?

Answer:

The full note on that page will be removed.

DFHSIT parameter EXTSEC is obsolete  - reference IBM CICS documentation.

The default behavior for CICS is to have external security so it doesn’t seem necessary for us to say anything about the obvious startup parm.
