Issue/Introduction

CA File Master for IMS batch EXTRACT job, extracting DEDB data, terminates with RC=16 and these error messages:

CAWK2700E  EXTRACT processing terminated in response to an unexpected    

CAWK2700E    IMS status code of 'FR' that occurred while performing      

CAWK2700E    initial GU call to retrieve 1st segment.

Please specify the Normal Buffer Allocation to be used when        

processing Fast Path databases within this BMP Environment.        

                                                                   

The Normal Buffer Allocation is passed as a positional parameter   

on the parm used to invoke IMS in a BMP region.  This field must be

numeric between the values of 0 - 99999999.  Zero is the default   

value.
