Report export notifications are not displayed in Modern UX

Issue/Introduction

• Reports are being exported from the Modern UX Reporting functionality
• The job that gets triggered in the background runs successfully
• This is verified from the cmn_sch_job_runs, cmn_sch_jobs, cmn_sch_job_logs tables
• However, the job does not seem to be writing notifications into clb_notifications table
• As a result, the notification does not get shown in the Modern UX's bell icon
• The report itself can be downloaded from the Reports Library.

Resolution

• Navigate to Home > Account Settings > Notifications tab, in the Classic UI
• Set the Alerts column to True.
