CA Privileged Access Manager - Server Control (PAMSC)

Issue/Introduction

One of the features of selang in CA PAM SC 14.1 is the possibility of recovering the history of commands previously executed starting with a certain character or character string.

Thus for instance if in selang character s is typed followed by the up arrow key, all commands which have previously been issued in the session starting with s (e.s. su, setoptions...) will be recovered

Following installation of certain versions of CA PAM SC 14.1.70 (CP07) and 14.1.80 (CP08) this functionality has stopped working

Resolution

This has been identified as an issue for CP07 version post 14.10.70.54 as 14.10.80.24 and a fix is available from SE

Please install PAM SC CP08 at version 14.10.80.35 or later or open a support case with  Broadcom to obtain a patch for your installed version
