Issue/Introduction

Question: 

The CA Datacom 15.0 upgrade job INSTJCL(BDUPG09) appears to be missing allocation/format/init steps for the DDMAP and DDOL1/2 files.

The new install job BDNEW02 contains the steps to allocate these files.

How should the upgrade of the Datacom 14.0 DDMAP/DDOL1/DDOL2 files to version 15.0 be handled?

Answer: 

With CA Datacom 15.0 , there are no 15.0 specific DDMAP/DDOL work files .  

Only the 15.0 DDOL Signon/Signoff panels are loaded into your existing ADRPNL file (file that you use with version 14.0).  

 

If there is a need to fallback then you need to restore the 14.0 DDOL signon/signoff panels by running 15.0 INSTJCL(BDFBK05).
