Clarity Audit will include updated by a job

Issue/Introduction

When running certain jobs, such as Update % Complete, Investment Allocation etc. you see Audit records in CMN_AUDITS are being created by the job with last_updated_date the job run and last_updated_by the user who ran the job

Resolution

• This is by design.
• Clarity will audit all updates that have gone through the application UI or job and this is expected
• If you would like to reduce the amount of records:
• Reconsider auditing some very high change fields
• Set the Audit Purge setting to remove records more often
• Also, as a best practice, to recognize those records, run the jobs with a specific 'admin' user so the users can understand this is not another user who made the edit when checking the Audits pages.
