b9-Reset Task is Generating High CPU

Issue/Introduction

The b9-Reset task is showing high CPU spikes, causing performance issues. 

Environment

• Carbon Black Application Control: 8.7.x and below

Cause

Task utilizes higher than normal CPU to clean up dead tasks. 

Resolution

Upgrade to the 8.8.x series of Agents

Additional Information

• b9-reset task is no longer used in the 8.8.x series of the agent due to the architectural changes in the agent. 
• There is not a way to reduce the CPU consumption by this task thread.
