VCF Installer fails due to DNS mismatch with host fqdn

Issue/Introduction

VCF installation wizard shows the failure message that reads, "VCF Installation fails with DNS resolultion error that reads, "DNS Resolution: Reverse lookup of IP address [IP] returned FQDN [UPPERCASE FQDN] which does not match the FQDN [lowercase FQDN] supplied in the deployment specification." The error message is seen in VCF Installer wizard as shown below:

Cause

Mismatch in DNS records in reference to installation specifications.

Resolution

The error message is quite descriptive to state the mismatch of DNS entries, wherein it states the case senstive entries of a node and reports what has been specified in DNS records (Review an example error screenshot as shown above). Hence, to address the issue, correct the mismatch by reentering the FQDN in installation wizard to match the DNS records of the nodes.
