Issue/Introduction

We are looking to check the status of the API endpoint on a regular basis for the purposes of ensuring the uptime of an app we have built.  We wanted to confirm if there were any restrictions on the frequency to make sure there is no automatic blocking 

Resolution

In Clarity PPM, there are no fixed "hard-coded" global blocking rules for everyone, but there are significant environmental and architectural safeguards you should be aware of when setting up a regular uptime check.

 

Recommendation:

- A frequency of once every 1-5 minutes is generally considered safe and standard for health checks.

- The Risk: If you poll every 1-5 seconds
