Issue/Introduction

The system incorrectly allows the mandatory Description column to be moved out of the "Selected Columns" list in Classic PPM Timesheet Options, bypassing its required status and breaks Timesheet functionalities in Classic and Modern UX. 

Steps to Reproduce: 

  1. Navigate to Timesheet Options in Classic PPM:
    • Path: Administration -> Project Management -> Timesheet Options
    • URL: <hostname>/niku/nu#action:timeadmin.configureTimesheet
  2. Locate the Default Content and Layout section.
  3. Select the Description column within the "Selected Columns" list.
  4. Reorder the column using the Move Up or Move Down arrows
  5. Click the Move Right arrow to remove the Description column from the "Selected Columns" list.
  6. Click "Apply"

Expected Results:
The Description column remains as selected column as it is a required option

Actual Results:
The Description column moves out of the selected columns and is no longer a required option

DE184827, is being reviewed by engineering.

Workaround: 
Move the description field back to the selected configuration of the default content and layout and click apply.
