Issue/Introduction

Currently, CA Plex test fixes sent by Broadcom have no way to know within the application itself when they are implemented.

In order for developers to find out if a test fix has been applied, they have to analyze files modification dates, etc.

There should be a way to find out whether a test fix is incorporated relying on the application itself, not the updated files copied.

Resolution

This feature request has been added to the CA Plex development backlog.

CA Plex Engineering has advised that to ensure consistency across all delivery types, they will use a proposed README file as the primary source of truth.

Going forward, a README file will be included with every test fix that lists all the previous test fixes bundled within it.

CA Plex Engineering will investigate more robust versioning alternatives while developing the newly created backlog item.
