Environment

CASB Audit

SpanVA 1.15.3.168.0-202511050222rc

Cause

This issue is typically caused by a proxy or network connectivity failure that prevents the SpanVA from successfully offloading logs to CloudSOC. When the upload fails, the SpanVA is unable to clear the processed log files from its local disk. Over time, these accumulated files fill the allocated disk space, leading to a disk-full condition that impacts critical SpanVA services and results in a Degraded state.

Resolution

Resolve Network/Proxy constraints such as:

  • Ensure that `*.storage.googleapis.com` (port 443) and `api.eu-vip.elastica.net` (for EU) or `api-vip.elastica.net` (for US) are whitelisted on your proxy and firewall SpanVA is Disconnected.
  • Check File Size Limits: Verify if there are any proxy rules or ICAP settings that restrict the size of outbound files. A limit (e.g., 10GB) can cause uploads of large log files to fail.

Restore Disk Space by SSH into the SpanVA appliance using the `readonly` user with Support coordination.

Monitor the Monitoring tab in the SpanVA UI to ensure that logs are now uploading successfully with a `Success` status.
