Customers upgrading to 8.4.1 may experience an upgrade failure if data from versions prior to 8.3.1 still exists on the system.
With the upgrade to Security Analytics 8.3.1, "legacy data" was introduced allowing users to view data captured prior to the 8.3.1 upgrade due to the way data is captured and stored differently in 8.3.1. Will this legacy data be available after upgrading to 8.4.1?

During the upgrade process from 8.3.1 to 8.4.1, we check for the existence of a specific folder in the file system where legacy data may be found. If this folder exists (indicating there is still legacy data), the upgrade will terminate and revert to the current version. Legacy data is NOT supported nor will it be accessible from the 8.4.1 GUI interface.
Detailed manual deletion steps will be added to this article upon the official release of version 8.4.1.
