Issue/Introduction

On the vSphere Client, import OVA file to Content Library fails with below error:

Environment

  • vCenter 8.x
  • vCenter 9.x

Cause

The Signing Certificate used for signing the currently available OVFs during the import process is expired.
As a result of this, OVA imports using Content Library will fail.

Resolution

This is a known issue. Broadcom engineering is actively working on a fix in a future 9.x release.
