How to use PDSMAN to search for HEX characters within members of a Library

I need to find a HEX string within COBOL modules. Is there a way to do a mass search of a library?

Resolution

1. Select PDSMAN from your menu.

2. Select (7) Member Scan/Replace Utility

3. In the Data Set Name, insert library you wish to search.

4. Selection can be made to narrow the source search or can be left blank.

5. HEX string search is described in the comments. Specify HEX strings as X'....' and embedded quotes as double quotes (").

6. <enter> and a list will be shown.
