Data Center Security (DCS) standalone policy deployment fails with status code 200

Issue/Introduction

You created an Intrusion Prevention Policy for standalone deployment using "Export for Deployment" option in DCS 6.10.x console and attempted to deploy it using sisipsconfig -P switch. 

The policy was rejected with an exception:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Data Center Security Server\Agent\IPS\driver\history\SCSP0603994.sbp.zip,2026-01-09 22:06:04.838 Z-0800,,In sym_win_prot_hardened_bcd; file; <map rset="deny_all_access_rs">: Unknown option: cust_global_adp_nafile_data (in option: "hardened_obey_appdata_restrictions & cust_global_adp_nafile_data"). Policy Rejected

Environment

DCS 6.10.1 standalone agent deployment

Cause

This is a known defect for DCS Management Server build lower than 6.10.2-2136

Resolution

Upgrade DCS Management Server to the build 6.10.2-2136 or newer. 

If you cannot upgrade DCS Management Server you can use the workaround below:

Workaround:

1. Deploy the policy to the DCS Managed Agent at least once

2. Export the policy using Export for Deployment option

3. Deploy the policy using sisipsconfig -P switch
