Issue/Introduction

Since the only supported version of Solve:Access Session Management 4.0 is the Japanese one (see z/OS Compatibility page), what is the easiest way to check if a Solve:Access Session Management 4.0 region is actually running the Japanese version?

Resolution

Easiest way to tell if the region is running the Japanese version is checking if DBCS startup parameter is set to YES.
