Issue/Introduction

While connecting to VMware Cloud recovery the configuration fails with the below error:

The Live Site Recovery dashboard displays the below error:

 

Environment

VMware Live Site Recovery 9.0.2.2

Cause

The issue is caused due to blocking of the vSphere replication Appliance IP/FQDN by the Firewall in the environment.

For a version 9.0.2 though the SRM IP/FQDN was whitelisted the VR IP was complaining for the connectivity issue with the error posted in the above screenshot.

 

Resolution

The fix is to whitelist the vSphere Replication appliance URL/IP in the Firewall configuration.
