Error: "Domain name is required" when updating EEM domain configuration

Issue/Introduction

You receive a domain name error when you attempt to update an existing EEM domain configuration without changing its name․​​​​​‌​‍

ERROR MESSAGE: "Domain name is required"

SYMPTOMS:

• The Edit Domain function fails to save modifications

• The system requires a domain name change to proceed

CONTEXT: Occurs during EEM domain configuration updates

IMPACT: You are blocked from updating domain settings unless the name changes

AAI 24.4.0 and earlier

Cause

Defect DE184556 

Resolution

A defect has been raised for this and will be fixed in a future release.

As a workaround you can simply change the domain name and save the domain configuration.
