Group 'amazon' deleted on next group sync in Operator Console

Issue/Introduction

A user created group named 'amazon' gets deleted during the next group synchronization in Operator Console (OC).

Resolution

In DX Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM), "Application Discovery" and "Amazon" are reserved system keywords used specifically for the App Discovery feature. Because these are pre-configured, the system does not allow manual creation or modification of groups using these exact names.

When a group is named "Amazon," the system identifies it as a container for devices discovered via AWS. If subsequent discovery cycles do not detect any AWS devices, the synchronization process automatically deletes the group to resolve the naming conflict.

To prevent this confusion, a fix is being implemented to restrict the manual creation of groups named "Amazon." This update is scheduled for the CU8 release.
