Failure deploying new VI Workload Domain

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to create a new VI workload domain, the Validate Workload Domain Input Data fails.

You see errors similar to:

 

Environment

9.0.2

Cause

A VDS or portgroup in the SDDC manager inventory was manually modified out of band of normal deployment processes, or has erroneous characters in the name.

Resolution

Contact Broadcom support to address the inconsistencies.
