Newly deployed Aria Operations for Logs 9.0.2 instance has banner indicating an evaluation period.

Issue/Introduction

• A new operations for Logs appliance was deployed in vCenter and added to the VCF environment in Fleet Management.
• A banner stating 'You are in an evaluation mode which expires on <MMM DD, YYYY>' is present at the top of the Operations for Logs UI.
• There are no vCenters configured in the Integrations menu.
• The 'Send to Operations' option is not available when configuring alerts in Operations for Logs.

VCF Operations for Logs 9.0.2

Cause

As the Operations for Logs instance was deployed outside the VCF instance to begin with, the integrations were not set up when it was imported.

Resolution

1. Navigate to the 'Integrations' menu in the VCF Operations UI.
2. Find the vCenter adapter and edit the configuration.
3. Ensure the 'Log Collection' option is checked.
4. Save the configuration.
