Aria Operations CA deployment from Aria Suite lifecycle fails with Error Code: LCMVSPHERECONFIG1000016

Issue/Introduction

The deployment fails at the ovf deployment phase for one of the vCenters.

Error Code: LCMVSPHERECONFIG1000016
IO Exception occurred while performing the operation. Check the logs for more information.
Unexpected ioexception occurred.

In /var/log/vrlcm/vmware_vrlcm.log we see Error:

ERROR vrlcm[4846] [pool-3-thread-21] [c.v.v.l.p.c.v.t.DeployOvfTask]  -- IO Exception occured while uploading files to vCenters datastore. Error : {}
java.io.IOException: Error writing request body to server

On the vCenter UI, we see Deploy OVF template task getting stuck and finally failing with 'Status: The task is cancelled by the user'

Cause

Firewall rule in the environment between the Fault domains.

Resolution

Verify that the routing between the Fleet Manager appliance and the vCenter / target ESXi host is symmetric as discussed in the Resolution of the following KB: LCMVSPHERECONFIG1000016
