Missing Some NSX Advanced Load Balancer pool metrics in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

While reviewing AVI LB dashboards, metrics are not collected, such as "Pool Metrics|Throughput" and "Pool Metrics|Open Connections".

As you can see the image open connections and throughput metric is showing as '-' from dashboard.

And these metrics are not shown up on metrics tab also.

 

Check this KB article first and there is no problem.

Environment

VCF operations 8.18.x

Cause

ALB management pack was not sending correct query params to Avi while doing pool metric api call, because of this pool metric response from ALB was getting truncated.

Resolution

Update the NSX Advanced Load Balancer Management Pack to version 1.3.4 or later.

There is no other workaround.

Additional Information

It's hard to figure out issue from the log bundle.

So if you have similar issue, we recommend to update management pack first.
