Issue/Introduction
This article provides steps to convert a virtual machine created with Fast Provisioning (Linked Clone) into a Full Clone by consolidating its disk chain.
Environment
VMware Cloud Director 10.6
Resolution
1. Log in to VCD tenant portal.
2. Navigate to Application > vApp and select the specific virtual machine.
3. Navigate to All ACTIONS > Power and Click "Shut Down Guest OS".
4. Navigate to All ACTIONS and Click "Consolidate Disks".
5 Confirm if Chain Length is "1" from General menu
