Issue/Introduction

• Error code “LCMVROPSYSTEM25051” message:
  
  Root password is either empty/invalid for the given address. Use special char from !@#$%^&*+=
  
  
• After resetting password may receive another error code “LCMCOMMON80049”.
  
  Message:
  

  Double-check and modify the following inputs if required, and click Submit.

• Able to log into VCF Ops primary node via SSH as root but not into the replica node; password failing.

Environment

VCF 9.x

Cause

• Password for node(s) either expired or forgotten.
• VCF Operations component not yet fully imported.

Resolution

Password for VCF Ops replica node needs to be reset and VCF Operations component final steps of “Import” needs to be completed if not yet done.

• Follow steps from KB How to Reset the Root Password for Aria Operations to reset the password for the affected node(s) listed in the error.
