Issue/Introduction

The following error appears when running pdm_d_refresh command in cmd:
LOGGER: Couldn't get my memory - most common problem is shared memory exists but wrong size Not enough space

Environment

SDM 17.4 GA and later

Cause

This message means SDM has corrupted shared memory files

Resolution

1. Shutdown CA Service Desk Manager services.

2. On the server where these messages are seen, navigate to the SDM installation directory: SDM-install-root\site\shm. Move all files in the shm folder to a backup location so that the shm folder is completely empty.

3. Start CA Service Desk Manager services.
