Issue/Introduction

When using HCX 4.11.x, the following banner is displayed in the HCX UI.

Some of the HCX features will be deprecated in the upcoming major release. Please review and plan your transitions accordingly.

Cause

This banner appears because certain features are scheduled to be deprecated in an upcoming major release. The features planned for deprecation are listed below. You can verify these details in the Feature Deprecation section of the VMware HCX 4.11 Release Notes. Please note that "HCX WAN Optimization" has already been deprecated.

• HCX V2T Migration
• HCX WAN Optimization
• HCX Disaster Recovery
• VCenter Plug-in for HCX
• HCX UI - Tracking page in Migration interface

Resolution

If you are currently using any of these features, please make a plan to phase out and discontinue their use.
