Unable to retrieve probe versions via DX UIM OData API

Issue/Introduction

Can the probe version be extracted using the OData API in DX Unified Infrastructure Management?

Environment

• DX UIM through version 23.4CU7

Resolution

This functionality is not currently implemented, but it may be added in future releases. Currently, the OData entities that identify probes installed on a group or system—MasterProbeDevice and MasterProbe—do not include "version" as an available field. Only the probe names are currently exposed through these entities.  To add this functionality would be an enhancement request.

It is possible to query the appropriate endpoints using the UIMAPI for probe inventory to obtain this information.
