Issue/Introduction

The following error is displayed on the Job Status page in the Risk Fabric console:

Request Failed

An error occurred trying to logdetail

Environment

Release : 6.x

Component : Risk Fabric console

Cause

SQL Server is under excessive load and unresponsive while running the nightly Risk Fabric Processing job, or the SQL Server service is not running.

Resolution

Ensure the SQL Server service is running. If the service is running and the nightly job is running, adjust the nightly job's schedule to run outside the hours in which users access the console. If that is not possible, use Performance Monitor to identify the resource or resources that are under excessive load and increase these resources as needed.
