MONS-025 error is encountered when configuring the pure_storage probe in AC

Issue/Introduction

When configuring and expanding the probe resources tree in Admin Console, the following error occurs:

Environment

• UIM 23.4.x
• pure_storage probe 1.25

Cause

Permissions used by the pure_storage probe need to be added in the configuration.

Resolution

The pure_storage probe needs a configuration item added so that the proper permissions are used.  These changes are made doing the following:

1. Open Infrastructure Manager.
2. Double-click the Pure Storage probe to open its configuration.
3. Navigate to Startup → Options, then click “Edit Key.”
4. In the “Enter new value” field, go to the end of the existing text.

5. Add a space, then append the following key:

   -Duser.name=SYSTEM

6. Click OK to save the changes.
