Issue/Introduction

Looking to install only the agent and the AutoSys client.

Is there a way to extract only the agent and client from the AutoSys ISO media? Doing so would simplify the installation for our users rather than providing the full AutoSys ISO image which is quite large in size.

Resolution

Unfortunately, while the standalone Agent can be extracted, the AutoSys Client utilities cannot be extracted from the ISO for a separate installation.

To install both components together, you must use the full AutoSys ISO image. 

To proceed with your requirement:

• Mount the AutoSys ISO image on the target machine.
• Run the installer and, during the component selection (interview phase), select only the Agent and Client options. 
• If you need to automate this across multiple systems, you can create a silent response file to handle the component selection automatically. Automate AutoSys Full Client
