Issue/Introduction

There are a few CSI's available in the system for the Top Secret product. How do you validate or confirm which CSI belongs to the current TSS ? 

Resolution

To confirm which CSI belongs to Top Secret V16.0, you can validate the Function Modification Identifier (FMID) associated with the product in each CSI.

Each release of Top Secret uses a unique FMID.
* For Top Secret V16.0, the FMID is CAKOG00.
* For Top Secret V17.0, the FMID is CAKOH00.

You can verify this by running an SMP/E LIST command against your CSIs:

1) Run a batch job using 'SET BDY(GLOBAL) .', or the specific Target/Distribution zone name.
2) Execute the command: LIST SYSMOD .
3) Look for FMID CAKOG00 (for Top Secret V16.0) or CAKOH00 (for Top Secret V17.0) in the output to confirm it is the V16.0 or V17.0 environment.
