Issue/Introduction

You may wish to know whether VCF Operations can collect and display ESXTOP outputs from ESXi hosts for performance troubleshooting.

Environment

VCF Operations 9.0.x

Cause

In VCF Operations 9.0.x and earlier versions, ESXTOP outputs are not natively collected or displayed. The standard collection intervals do not capture this high-frequency granular data.

Resolution

As of VCF Operations 9.0.x, ESXTOP outputs are not collected. However, there is a plan to include ESXTOP metrics and monitor the same in a future release of VCF Operations 9.1.x.
