IDMS is performing what appear to be superfluous/unnecessary signons, using the LTERM or PTERM name as the userid.
This can result in any of the following messages:
DC396010 from the TCPIP line driver.
IRR012I from RACF
DC999999 to deliver the ESM messages in IDMS
Release: All supported releases.
DFLTSGN=YES (and a DFLTUID= value) are specified in the TYPE=INITAL #SECRTT call in RHDCSRTT.
DFLTSGN and DFLTUID were originally intended to be used for commands issued from the CONSOLE. But they are also having an impact in other areas of IDMS, for example the TCP/IP and LU6.2 line drivers, resulting in unnecessary signon attempts and confusing error messages.
Enable optional bit 328 in RHDCOPTF to limit the functionality of DFLTSGN and DFLTUID to commands issues from the CONSOLE only.
