NVMe drives not showing unique UUID Serial Number.

Issue/Introduction

The Serial Number does not return a unique UUID for the Serial Number.

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation

Cause

NVMe driver version is below 1.3 which doesn't include the required fields to return unique IDs for the disks. 

Resolution

To ensure driver 1.3 is used on the VM see requirements below:

Linux NVMe 1.3 or higher requirements:

VMware Hardware Version 19 or higher. 

Windows NVMe 1.3 or higher requirements:

VMware Hardware version is 21 or later
Windows version is Windows 11/Windows Server 2022 or later
