Incorrect patch requirement for Oct/Nov/Dec 2025 IntelliRollup deployments

Issue/Introduction

we did the patch management for IntelliRollup deployments for Oct/Nov/Dec 2025 all failed. 

For the October 2025 deployment, we found that
The machine is currently running Windows 11 24H2, OS build 26100.7840.
 However, ITCA has determined that the following package is required:
 UPM Patch - Cumulative Update 2025-10 - Win11-Server2025-kb5066835-x64-24H2 - Requires {22f3b34a-ff00-4fde-bdd6-196be908aeae} 1.0
 According to the current system version, this package corresponds to a previous cumulative update within the same 24H2 branch, and therefore should not be considered applicable or necessary for this machine. Consequently, the installation attempt will continue to fail as long as ITCA incorrectly classifies the package as required.

Note: we performed the February 2026 IntelliRollup deployment and it worked fine.

Resolution

This is a product bug and the fix will be included in the next cumulative patch, which has an ETA May, 2026.
