Issue/Introduction

IWS EVENT files stop processing in Automation Analytics & Intelligence (AAI) data feed due to a missing track file causing a replan hold ․​​​​‌​‍

 

ERROR MESSAGE: "Files out of sequence detected, holding all events until file arrives" "Failed to send events" "No events sent, cannot close transaction, remove it"

SYMPTOMS:

• Events stop processing after a specific date and time

   

• Connector logs show continuous looping trying to find a missing EVENTS file

IWS Collector

Cause

Missing CPOP and TRACK files

Resolution

• Correct the JCL on the IWS scheduler so that the TRACK and CPOP files are sent to the IWS collector.
• Preferred method: use the Broadcom Solution IWSz server for AAI instead of using your own JCL
