Triggering Policy Notifications on Alarm Severity Increases in DXO2.

Issue/Introduction

Administrators need a way to trigger notifications for a single, existing alarm when its severity escalates using policy.

Environment

DXO2

Resolution

Adjust your policy be executing the following:

a) Go to Settings/Create Policies

b) Select the policy of your choice that can be found with automatic type.

c) Set "Severity Increases" for Trigger Alarm Notification.

Note that when more than one Severity will be added as part of policy filter this option will be grayed out.

Note: In order to prevent first iteration of the policy add one condition: "Alert status: updated" in order to prevent first iteration and as a result, only channel will be triggered in case of uplift.
