Safe Error: [EE_AUTHFAILED Authentication Failed] when trying to run the AAI 24.4 EEM policy upgrade scripts

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to upgrade the EEM policies after upgrading to AAI 24.4, the scripts below are failing with the error below despite the password being correct and verified with safex:

eEMConfigUpgrader.bat

eEMUsersMigration.bat

enableAndDeleteEEMPolicies.bat

 

Safe Error: [EE_AUTHFAILED Authentication Failed]

Cause

Defect DE184178 - Passwords that have special characters can cause the batch scripts to fail

Resolution

Use the attached scripts which will handle the special characters without error.

This will be fixed in AAI 24.5.
