Issue/Introduction

Customers performing file transfers (FT)  to a z/OS host may encounter data integrity issues in the target datasets. These issues can manifest as unexpected line breaks, resulting in inconsistencies between the source and destination file structures.

In some cases, the transferred files may show discrepancies such as altered line counts, missing records, or the presence of unintended carriage return (CR) characters. These symptoms indicate potential formatting or encoding inconsistencies introduced during the transfer process, leading to partial file corruption on the z/OS side.
