Issue/Introduction

In the VCF Business Services console, switching a VCF Operations instance registration between tenants is not currently a self-service "drag-and-drop" operation and typically requires manual intervention or a re-registration workflow.

This knowledge base article provides a step-by-step guide to unregister a VCF Operations instance from an existing Tenant within the VCF Business Service Console and subsequently register it using a new Tenant ID.

VCF Operations 9.0

Resolution

Following this procedure re-registers the VCF Operations instance to a different tenant via the VCF Business Service Console.

• Deactivate VCF Operations from the Current Tenant
  
  
• Access VCF Operations UI and navigate to License Management >> Registration >> Click on "Actions" and Select "Restart Registration"
  
  
• Complete the VCF Operations registration for the new tenant.
  
  
• After the registration is complete, log in to the VCF Operations UI and navigate to License Management > Registration.
  Select Update Licenses to apply the changes.
