Applications Manager's use of anonymous bind in LDAP or Active Directory

Issue/Introduction

All current versions of Applications Manager (9.6.2 and below) uses Anonymous Bind for its authentication type for it's LDAP or Active Directory feature.

Is there any way to change this to another authentication type such as Named Bind?

Resolution

Applications Manager is coded to use only Anonymous Bind. 

There is currently is no option to change this to Named Bind or any other authentication type.
