Issue/Introduction

We upgraded to EEM 12.7.2.0 and then CA Directory does not start.

We saw these messages in C:\Program Files\CA\Directory\dxserver\logs\itechpoz_trace.log:

[84] 20260318.135455.001 ERROR : Syntax Error: Line 1 in C:\Program Files\CA\Directory\dxserver\config\ssld\itechpoz.dxc near 'tls'
Cannot set TLS parameter
* [84] 20260318.135455.005 DSA_E1280 Error in initialization files
* [84] 20260318.135455.005 DSA_I1240 DSA shutting down

Environment

Service Management 17.4 RU5 with EEM 12.7.2.0 

Resolution

Update C:\Program Files\CA\Directory\dxserver\config\ssld\itechpoz.dxc change

protocol = tls

to

protocol = tlsv12

save the change. Then start the CA Directory.
