Issue/Introduction

Question:

My CA Auditor 8.1 BASELINE ALERT RECORDS show the wrong SMFID, why?

Answer:

The CA Auditor Alerts are stored in the CA Auditor VSAM BASELINE file. The CA Auditor BASELINE file

cannot be shared across multiple z/OS images. Each system requires it's own BASELINE VSAM file.

Sample JCL to allocate the BASELINE VSAM file can be found in the CA Auditor installation dataset

CAJ0JCL0 in member BLDBASE.
