To resolve this issue, you must manually download and map the 8.18 Patch 2 binary to your appliance.
Verify that you have taken a snapshot of the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle Virtual Appliance (VA).
Ensure you have the vrslcm-8.18.0-Patch2.patch file downloaded from the Broadcom Support Portal.
Using a file transfer tool (such as WinSCP), upload the .patch file to the /data folder on the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle VA.
Log in to the VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle UI.
From the Lifecycle Operations dashboard, navigate to Settings > Binary Mapping.
Click Patch Binaries.
In the Source Location field, enter the path where you uploaded the file (/data).
Click Discover.
Select the discovered patch and click Add.
Navigate to Settings > System Patches.
Click New Patch.
Select the 8.18 Patch 2 binary and click Next.
Click Install.
Note: The services will restart automatically. You will be redirected to the login page once the process is complete.
After logging back in, navigate to Settings > System Patches.
Check Patch Details to confirm the version is correctly reported as Patch 2.
